Bowling - A "digital version" of the game of bowling.
The rules of this game are the standard rules of bowling.
This game is primarily a multiplayer game, but it is also possible to play alone as a training session.
To play this game in multiplayer mode, all players must be connected to the same Wi-Fi.
One player must be selected to be "server player" and the other players must enter the IP address of this "server player" as "Server IP address" in the "Settings" menu item. Note that all players must also select "Multiplayer" under "Game Mode" in the "Settings" menu item.
Via the "Settings" menu option it is possible to
- select whether left or right handedness (in "Handedness") is preferred,
- select the desired "Name" and
- select "Game mode".
Change "throwing origin"
- before you throw the bowling ball it is possible to change the "throwing origin" by placing a finger on the screen) and swipe it to your preferred starting point.
Throwing the bowling ball
- press and hold your finger on the "fingerprint image", the current throwing direction is displayed as a dashed line (when you do not deviate too much from the horizontal plane), when you rotate your phone (in the horizontal plane), the throwing direction changes, when you are satisfied, make a throwing motion and when you lift your finger from the "fingerprint image", your bowling ball is thrown.
Note that a lot of effort has been made in this app to make the motion of the ball as realistic as possible. I.e. it is possible to make the ball hook if you make a twisting motion of your wrist before you release your finger from the "fingerprint image".
Further on note that all bowling pins colliding with the ball or another pin are defined as "knocked down".
During a game, you can select the "Scoreboard" menu item at any time to see the current standings.
When a game is completed, all players must select the "New Game" menu item to start a new game.
